As we move into the colder months, lots of people start feeling those aches and pains more. This is thought to be partly due the joints being sensitive to air pressure changes, and also that the muscles becoming tighter in colder weather.
What can we do to avoid this and stay pain free in winter?

· If your going out wrap up warm, wearing layers is a good idea so that you can take a few off when entering a warmer environment.
· Make stretching and gentle exercise a part of your daily routine – its proven that staying active helps to reduce pain.
· Go for a swim in a heated pool – many arthritis sufferers find this help ease their joint pain.
· Try to avoid binge eating, extra weight can put extra pressure on the joints; Try eat a balanced diet including plenty of Omega 3, Vitamin D, Vitamin C and calcium rich foods to help bone health.
· Visit your Chiropractor, Massage therapist or Doctor if your suffering with prolonged back pain.
